Analytical Perspectives in Game Design

The drama processor is a piece of software that has a high level of control over the game world. It determines how the world will interact with the players action on a global basis to generate a drama of action within the game world. For example, the drama processor might decide that there is too little going on in the world and gave the NPCs in a particular city revolt against central rule.
