This section contains general notes relating to how to author games in general.

Backups

Keep backups of all your data. Preferably off site. You are in fact reading on of my backups.

Experience

You should gain experience. I remember a quote, but not who made it, it says "If I stand tall it is because I stand on the shoulders of tall men.".

Research

Research your topic. Learn the skills you need to develop your game or world. Sometimes there are unlikely but parallel worlds of learning.

Testing

Tests everything you do. Get others to help you test your work as they will provide different views and find different bugs.
